The sun is setting upon Mono Lake and the evening glow is permeating the landscape.  A very gentle breeze creates ripples on the water that lap gently upon the shore where I am standing.  The tufa tower is illuminated in a soft glow by the last light of the setting sun.  In a short while, it will be night and Mono Lake will sleep.
